Todd Endris
is spearheading the ISARF advisory committee after a
Great White Shark attacked him three times, "I
never want anyone to go through what happened to
me! And shark attacks are occurring more than
ever. This doesn't need to continue! That's why
we created this non-profit foundation. Please
send whatever you can! The technology is here,
we just need the funding to develop it. Every
dollar makes a difference."

Book
Release: "Saved by Dolphins"
The Todd Endris Story
Todd's book will be on the
bookstands in the fall of 2008. It's an
incredible saga of his violent
underwater struggle for survival with
the largest predatory fish on the
planet.
Attacked three times in under a minute
and with half of his blood gone Todd was
locked in a loosing struggle for his
life. Suddenly a pod of dolphins
intervened forming a wall between
himself and the shark.
Seeing the distraction caused by the
dolphins Joe Jansen, a fellow surfer,
risked his life and swam into the blood
pool to help Todd onto his surfboard.
Almost immediately a small wave appeared
that Todd knows was Heaven sent and took
them all the way to the beach where
another series of miracles would help to
save his life several more times. It's
an inspirational story of survival
against all odds. |
Todd was attacked by a 3,000 pound Great
White while surfing in in California, on August
28, 2007. When Todd was struggling for life, a
pod of Bottlenose Dolphins intervened and formed
a wall around the injured surfer giving him a
split second to escape the jaws of the 17 foot
shark. Click on "Todd's Story" for a video and
more information.
Todd was
immediately helped by three heroic surfers,
given first aid, then air lifted to a trauma
center where he was not expected to live. Todd
had lost half of his blood and after a grueling
five and a half hour surgery, during which he received 700
sutures, he miraculously recovered to tell his
story.
